Fresh from SEGA’s official website, we now know the release date for Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube for the US. According to the site, the game will hit store shelves in January 2002, which is a month after its release in Japan. That should be enough time to get all the localisation ready, from voices to extras, right? Time to get excited!

After selling well in Japan, Sonic Adventure 2 has now become a top seller in the US after being on store shelves for only eleven days. The Dreamcast swansong broke into June’s NPD Top 10 software sales chart, entering at the #8 position. We wonder how it will perform next month, if this is its ranking after little over a week. Amazon USA Starts Selling SatAM Videos
Well there’s a surprise! It looks like Amazon are selling old VHS tapes of the SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. They’re going for around $12 each, and there are only three to choose from, but if you’re needing an animated blue blur fix right now you can’t say fairer than this.
