Netflix is once again giving fans an early taste of Sonic Prime, as their Netflix After School YouTube channel has posted the first full episode of Season 2. Picking up directly after the end of Season 1, the episode sheds light on the mysterious echoes of Shadow Sonic encountered.
The full Season 2 premieres in little over a week, July 13, promising Shadow to take a more pronounced role and Shatterverse bleed over, though a third season is expected to fulfill the previously announced series length of 24 episodes.

Netflix has announced a release date for the continuation of its ‘Sonic Prime’ animated series. The ongoing series run – which is being dubbed ‘Season 2’ by fans – will premiere on the streaming service on July 13, 2023.
A new image has been released by the company, along with a synopsis reminding everyone of the overall plot of the show. You can see both below.
Synopsis: The action-packed adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog go into overdrive when a run-in with Dr. Eggman results in a literal universe-shattering event. Desperate to piece his prime reality back together and save his old friends, Sonic races through the Shatterverse, discovering strange worlds and enlisting new friends in an epic adventure of a lifetime!
The first batch of Sonic Prime episodes launched on Netflix back in December 2022, and only contained eight episodes. We hope this next set of episodes is larger and fully fleshes out Sonic’s journey across the Shatterverse worlds. For instance, how does Shadow play into the proceedings and how do the pair work together to help fix the broken dimensions?
We’ll have a good couple months to wait and figure it all out. Who’s excited!?

Sonic Boom premiered in November 2014 and wrapped up its first season a year later, and fans of the show are eagerly awaiting the day season two will premiere at some point this fall. Now, it turns out that they won’t have to wait for much longer, as a date has dropped by way of TV listings site Zap2It.
Mark your calendars, as Sonic Boom is expected to return to Cartoon Network’s airwaves on October 29th, with the season premiere episode “Tommy Thunder: Method Actor.”

Every year, TV show people meet up in Cannes for the annual MIPCOM event, it’s basically a place where broadcasters go in order to secure the rights to show various TV shows around the world on various networks.

Cartoon Network has announced that Sonic Boom will be returning to the airways for their 2015-2016 programming schedule. In a press release which details programming intentions for 2015-2016, under the section ‘Returning Series’ Sonic Boom is one of the shows listed.
Despite the poor reception of the game, Sonic Boom the TV show has been doing very well with audience numbers still high for it’s time slot and market appeal, if the information here is correct and the show has indeed been renewed, it’s potentially huge news for Boom as a brand.
Unfortunately the press release isn’t completely clear as to if it means that it’s new content, or if they intend to reshow the first season into 2016.

With the Olympics in full swing and my love for attention, I shoved a Corner segment out the door. Fun fun fun. RedHedgehog will return to its usual antics next week, as well. We really hope you enjoy all the SoS coverage in this episode, though. The audio quality of the concerts is really good!
