As online entertainment has taken over my diet, it’s rare to really encounter the style of toy commercials I used to ingest in my youth, but JAKKS Pacific haven’t given up the style even if the medium has shifted.
The Dr. Eggman Robot Battle Set is now available online and in-stores at Target in the US, and it comes with the ever classic kid-playing-in-living-room ad complete with Sonic 2 video clip and BATTLE DAMAGE!!

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will soon be available at retail and with that in mind SEGA has started their TV advertising campaign in the US. The whole commercial feels like a brief episode of Wacky Races and SEGA is really pushing Danica Patrick’s presence, but oddly not Wreck-It-Ralph. You can view the commercial in the video above.

SEGA Japan has been playing a new commercial for Sonic Colours at the Tokyo Game Show and in it we get to see our first very brief snippet of what is believed to be footage of the Starlight Carnival stage. We also get to see the Pink Wisps’ Spike Power in action in the Planet Wisp stage. Check it out and post your thoughts in the comments section. Oh, and *ahem* LAAAZEERRRR!!!
