First Bundle: console and six games (Pac-man, Turf Masters, King of Fighters R2, Samurai Showdown 2, Metal Slug First Mission, and Fatal Fury F-Contact) for $79.99.

Below is from Planet Gamecube:
It seems Sega is slowly lifting itself out of the gutter. Thursday Sega announced a profit of 1.89 billion yen, or 15.8 million dollars, and 42.4 billion yen ($353 million) in sales between April and June. Although it is hard for analysts to make projections on the rest of Sega’s year, as this is Sega’s first quarterly earnings report publicly released, it is safe to say any profit is good for the company, whose reports have historically been in the red.
Sega attributes this pleasant surprise to key titles such as Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Cut, an updated GameCube port of the signature Dreamcast title, and the quirky Let’s Make a J-League Soccer Club 3 for the PS2, both of which sold above Sega’s expectations. Sega reports it is still on track to meet its goal of 7.5 billion yen ($1.6 billion) in profit by the end of March 2004.
Looks like the ports are selling well, makes you think what the sales for Sonic Heroes will be…

Yes, Sonic News is still here, but in a cleaner form! You’ll notice that most of Sonic News has changed. This is the new, improved version of Sonic News, for we have, like The Sonic Stadium, gone PHP stylee.
What does this mean to you? Well, for a start you’ll be able to get your news fix much quicker and faster than ever before (and considering how fast Sonic News is in the first place…), as well as cool extras such as being able to add your own comments and thoughts on the many Sonic and Sonic Team headlines passing through here.
You can also let a friend know about any of the articles we have, just by clicking on ‘Send to Friend’ and filling in the details. The news prior to this month (August) has been removed temporarily – now that archives will be added automatically, it seems fitting for us to archive the news headlines that we had to manually update.
Soon the ‘Articles’ section in the MEDIA Channel will be moved to Sonic News too, where it will belong most – for it’s great move, you can submit any editorial articles that you have written – be it your theories on the Sonic Universe, a thought about the Online Community, or just general Sonic theory-ness.

Sega has opened a small official website with info and screens of the 3D Ages version of Phantasy Star which will be released on the Playstation 2 with enhanced graphics and sound, a small remake. I didn’t add no news on this before because well, Sonic Team didn’t have involvement with this project till now. Sonic Team will be supervising the character editorial and package illustrations. So most art will be done by them, official art.

Sonic’s space odyssey continues as he crash-lands on a strange planet… a planet that evolves faster than Sonic can even run. What can Sonic do while whole civilizations rise and fall around him.? More importantly, what do the inhabitants of the planet think of our trespassing hedgehog? It’s sci-fi with a Sonic spin.
