We reported in February that GE Animation, amongst their fantastic line up of plushes of supporting Sonic characters, were planning on producing a stuffed toy of Sonic Adventure fan favourite Tikal.
The plush joins recent releases that have included other characters that have seldom seen stuffed toy incarnations (either recently or never), such as Emerl, Mephiles, and E-102 Gamma.

Great Eastern Animation list a 10″ soft toy of the Sonic Adventure character as “coming soon” on their website!
The company continue their line of fan favourite incarnations (in recent months they have released plushes of Tangle the Lemur, Fang the Sniper, and Emerl).
While there is no further info beyond the listing on the GE Animation website, Sonic Adventure fans will surely be excited at the prospect of getting this plush 24 years on from the release of the game.

This is a bit of sad news if you’ve been collecting the character plush toys that GE Animation have been putting out; they have confirmed that as of April 2017 they will no longer have the Sonic licence, therefore they will not be producing any new plushes.

GE Entertainment, that company who has gone a spree of creating awesome plushes over the past few years have revealed the latest additions to their Sonic the Hedgehog plush range. One you could argue was inevitable, and the other comes totally out of left field.
Introducing GE’s plushes of Chaos 0 and classic Dr. Eggman. According to GE, both Dr. Eggman and Chaos will be a bit of a bigger plush than what we’re used to from GE measuring about 14 inches tall (opposed to the 8-9 inches that most of their plushes are).
Eggman is sporting a particularly egg-shaped frame, complete with felt moustache and shiny glasses. Chaos is… well just look at him! Water detailing, big bulbous eyes and brain… What’s not to like? This would also probably the first pieces of dedicated Chaos merchandise… Probably ever (unless memory fails me).
No details on cost or anything just yet, but we can expect the plushes to launch later this year.
