One fan project I’ve been quietly following for awhile has been Team Sea3on’s fan-made third season of Sonic SatAM. I’ve long felt confident they’d eventually deliver something, as the Sonic SatAM community, while small, has been consistently delivering solid fan efforts for years, including the long running web comic this show is based on. Regardless, it’s pretty awesome finally getting to see what they’ve been working on, and as I’d hoped, it’s way past cool.
What’s even cooler is who they got to sing Sonic SatAM’s iconic theme song, The Fastest Thing Alive: Crush 40’s Johnny Gioeli! You can check out the trailer, as well as a clean version of Gioeli’s song, below:

“Re-animation” projects have been a common thing on YouTube for a couple years now, and Sonic fans released their first crack at it back in April when they released an entirely re-animated episode of Sonic X!

It’s only been a month since the animators and voice actors over at Sonic Paradox released the karma collector-themed Vector’s Knickers, and tonight, the crew has unveiled a brand new spinoff series to the popular Sonic Shorts Volumes collaborations. Sonic Seconds!

Much like the Knuckles Briefs, the animation team at Sonic Paradox has come back together again to deliver more raucous laughs and satirical pokes at the Sonic franchise in a new specially themed shorts collection, this time shining the limelight on everyone’s favourite crocodile, muscle, and karma collector. It’s been the lifelong dream of many Sonic fans to work at SEGA or with the Sonic brand in some official capacity, and in many ways, Tyson Hesse has achieved it.
Back when Archie Comics still published their Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Universe serials, Hesse was brought on board during the later years as one of many great artists behind each carefully crafted page. His beloved take on Classic Sonic soon led to him pencilling the unfortunately ill-fated Sonic: MEGA DRIVE comics, and later directing not only the animation for Sonic Mania‘s preorder trailer, but the official opening for the game as well.
However, there was a time before all of this, a simpler time, when a certain Boxer Hockey wove a masterpiece of a tale – a dramatic epic with running, giants, robots, chases, escapes, True Love, miracles, and finally…
…magical kitsunes and rock-hard fist-nipples.
