Sometimes I like to hide in things and surprise my friends. Particularly the grill. I see the grill as both the alpha and omega, a symbol of the passing of life through its narrow slits. As one journey begins on the one side, a different one ends in the accomplishment of the passing. When I hide behind the grill, I am but an observer of life from the other side.

Plus I can do ghost noises and scare Knuckles. It funny. Didn’t expect King Boom Boo to appear though. Whoops. Did I do a mating call or something there?

Of course, this is a pastime of mine that I enjoy when Froggy is not around. At times Froggy tries to squeeze through the gaps in a grill, which is why I am usually attracted to such objects when my best friend is not around.

The benefits of hiding are lots. You don’t have to fight black hedgehogs in forests and instead sit and pretend you’re fishing in an underground hole. Actually, that second bit’s not so fun. I prefer real fishing. But not getting ouch from a Soap shoe is good for me.

You can also cheer on heroes while maintaining safe distance. I don’t like swimming, so I hid in the Cannon’s Core roof while Knuckles and Rouge did something in the water. Plus there’s little chance of radiation and everything. Yay. You can also watch ghost trains go by and enjoy casual tours around the local GUN prisons without any bother. It’s difficult to touch people though.

I sure wish there was a grill here though – I don’t like running!
