It has been reported by The Illuminerdi that Jason Momoa, known for playing DC’s movie incarnation of Aquaman, has been offered the voice acting role to play Knuckles the Echidna in the second the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, due for release in 2022.
While it is currently unknown if Momoa has accepted the role (it was previously rumoured the role had been offered to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) we look forward to seeing if the high profile actor accepts the job.

Like I said before, if Knuckles were to appear in the second movie, it would probably be for a mid-credits scene to set up the next film, like with Tails in the first.
