First4Figures 25th Anniversary Classic Sonic Statue Revealed

First4Figures today revealed their long-anticipated 25th Anniversary statue, and I’m sure many will agree that this is the most ambitious statue to date.

Revealed via the F4F facebook live stream today, the statue constitutes classic Sonic in his “figure eight” run, passing the end-of-level goal post.

The exclusive version of the statue includes the three different lighting sequences in the running blur, and a goal post that is motorised. The exclusive version also comes packed with two additional interchangeable images for the goal post.

Both Exclusive an Regular versions will retail at $384.99, with the 2 Week pre-order window commencing on Tuesday the 6th of June 2017 at 4PM BST (8AM PST). Payment plans will also be available in either 4 or 7 month installments, with a 10% deposit of $39 required up front.

There will be a ‘Day 1’ edition of the figure which will include an extra signed card/sticker on the box if you pre-order within the first 24 hours.
You can also check out the “making of” video on youtube below, which describes the history of the design and the choices made along the way.

The Sonic Stadium may link to retailers and earn a small commission on purchases made from users who click those links. These links will only appear in articles related to the product, in an unobtrusive manner, and do not influence our editorial decisions in any way.

  1. It is a thing of beauty! I’m not interested in the Metal Sonic further down the line, but I’m totally getting this.

  2. Never purchased or pre ordered straight from F4F. Do they take payment when pre ordering like with the Cook and Becker book?

    1. Only a deposit of 10% ($39 in this case) then the rest upon shipping or whenever payment plan you choose 🙂

  3. Meh.

My hopes are high that it sells, but my expectations are low. I’m hoping this is the last of the Classic Sonic statues so we can move on.

  4. I wish F4F would release some smaller, “budget” statues for those of us who don’t have the space/money for the big ones.
