Check Out This Amazing Sonic the Hedgehog Tattoo!

There are many folks out there with Sonic-themed inkings, but this could possibly be the greatest (if not most elaborate and detailed) tatt out there!

SSMBer Boosted-Vulpine has spent more than 120 hours over the course of 3 1/2 years under the needle. The result? This fantastic full leg sleeve!

  1. I give lots of respect for this person!
I love the tattoo, and it is definitely well done..

Unfortunately as i said earlier Sonic’s arms are not suppose to be blue..
I have a Sonic but it is a discreet one blended into my overall back piece.. (I would love to get a full color piece similar like this, but my girlfriend refuses for me to get it done..)

Anyways, if this were me, and a small detail like the arms were the wrong color, i would be so upset!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not like a lot of the Sonic fan base who whines and complains about everything for the sake of complaining..
In fact I love everything Sonic, been a HUGE hardcore fan since 1991 and have loved everything Sonic to this day and always will!
(I can go on and on about how much I love Sonic!)

Whatever the case, I give lots of props for this ink job, but the arm color on Sonic is a big slip up..

  2. The arm color is not a slip up. The detail on Knuckles shoes isn’t a slip up either. Everything was done for the greater picture of the tattoo over all as a whole. With so much color being in the tattoo his arm color along with his belly and eyes would leave a large section of white and blue arms where to help break that up. Believe me it took a while of consideration before I made the decision. Thanks for the kind words. 😉

  3. Totally awesome! I love the composition detail and quality of this piece are amazing and I just love Sonic. I would be surprised if this showed up in magazines. Who is the Tattoo Artist?
