Classic Sonic Joins Sonic Racing on Apple Arcade

If you’re looking for some true Sonic drift.

As we found out last year, it’s never too late to update a Sonic mobile game, and Apple Arcade’s Sonic Racing has got its own update to add classic Sonic and original Green Hill Zone tracks to the 2019 release.

Classic Sonic sports his bright red Cyclone from Sonic Drift on the Game Gear, and is unlocked as a League 7 racer. Three new Green Hill tracks have been added, featuring remixed versions of “Beyond the Speed of…” and “Going My Way” from the Sonic Runners soundtrack.

Sonic Racing is part of the Apple Arcade subscription plan, and is available on iOS 13 devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and MacOS computers.

Please note that Sonic Racing is developed and maintained by SEGA HARDlight, not Sumo Digital. Neither Classic Sonic nor Green Hill tracks have been announced for Team Sonic Racing.
