  1. Meh. For what the deadly six is worth, might aswell lay them down right after the end of metal virus saga instead of developing another derivative plot with them around sonic world.

  2. My understanding is that the amount of people who care, or wonder about the “Deadly Six”, from their one, long-forgotten game is… 0%. …Why try, why bother building anything around these “nothing” villains? Create some NEW stories! Omochao has more substance than these clowns.

  3. I understand the scorn the deadly six get, but to be fair I actually think they made Zavok a little more interesting in the comics – particularly in the Bad Guys miniseries. If the other 5 zeti can be written just as well, I’ll actually have reason to care about them.

    1. I agree, Zavok’s been pretty good in the comics, but it comes down to how he interacts with characters. In games and a fair bit of the zombie arc, he generally just didn’t, relegating him to dollar store Bowser and his Koopalings, but having him navigate other characters, and having other characters navigate him sort of brought out why he’s an imposing figure. Not as interesting a figure as Dr. Eggman or Dr. Starline, but he has a place in that universe.

  4. I think the same as GX. Zavok’s character development has so far been decent but it only has been on how he interacts with others. I think it would have been slighty better if we had an arc with only one or two of the Deadly Six rather than the whole team. It would give us a better idea of how powerful they are as individuals, and would also flesh them out their personalities and to see how they operate on their own.
