Amy Gets Holiday Makeover in New Sonic Forces Events

Sonic Forces’ mobile version will have a whopping three holiday events this year, as well as a brand new holiday-themed runner, Jingle Belle Amy. 

The first of these events, “Belle of the Snow Ball,” starts today. It of courses, centers around introducing and unlocking the new Amy skin. As is typical for these events, players will need to complete missions and earn 300 cards while the event is running in order to unlock her. She utilizes two pre-existing items, Ice Wave and Ice Boost (which freeze your opponents and boosts you while freezing your opponents, respectively) as well as a brand new item, Gift Trapped. This item lets you place what are effectively just gift wrapped spike balls along the course. This event will last from today until December 23.

The second event, Wrap Battle, is a VS event. Join either Team Belle or Team Elf (for Elf Classic Sonic) and battle for supremacy. The team that gets the most points will get a “great prize.” Elf Classic Sonic, Jingle Belle Amy, and Santa Big will all be unlockable/upgradeable via missions during the event, which runs from December 23 to January 05.

The final event, 12 Days of Holidays, doesn’t have much info yet. According to the update, the game will be giving out presents, and will run from December 18-29. These gifts won’t be going into Tails’ vault, so the game won’t be asking you to spend any money for them.
