A new collection of classic Sonic remixes has been published on a range of music streaming platforms, as SEGA continues to beef up its Sonic soundtracks catalogue.
Imaginatively titled the ‘Throwback Collection (Vol.2)’, this new ‘LP’ features four tracks remixing themes from Sonic CD, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Heroes.

- Sonic3 MegaD Mix (SEGA SOUND TEAM, Naofumi Hataya)
It follows a Volume 1 collection that was released earlier this year, but whereas the last edition contained brand new remixes from Sonic sound director Jun Senoue and Sonic Mania composer Tee Lopes, Volume 2 features remixes included on previously-released soundtracks and games.
Sonic Boom and Sonic 3 MegaD Mix can be found in Sonic Gems Collection, while the Digital Circuit and Bingo Highway remixes were originally released on the Japanese Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Heroes OST CDs.
Still, it’s really cool to be able to listen to these bonus tracks in a new format. SEGA has been kind enough to release this short soundtrack on about a billion different streaming services, so check out the full list here and follow on to the platform of your choice.
