It’s time to check out another entry you can play at this year’s Sonic Hacking Contest. In this article, we’re looking at another Sonic Mania mod, known as Sonic Remixed Adventure.
Sonic Remixed Adventure, also known as Sonic Remixed, is “an all–new 2D Adventure with the purpose of making a love letter to the Sonic Adventure titles with a 2D Classic approach”, according to the mod’s creators.
There are 2 playable levels in this demo, Sonic Adventure’s Emerald Coast and Sonic Adventure 2’s Final Rush, along with 5 Blue Sphere stages. It doesn’t sound like much, but the mod’s dev team does say that this will eventually be a full game with loads of content, so much more is on the way.
Both of the levels replace the first acts of Green Hill Zone and Metallic Madness Zone. You’ll also be able to see music changes and Modern Sonic replaces Classic Sonic as a playable character. He’s the only one playable in the demo.
In short, if you’re looking for anything that you simply must play at the 2020 Sonic Hacking Contest, this is one of them. If you’re interested, it’s available to download at the entry’s page right here.
