  1. Finally. Hated this saga. I don’t understand why every single modern comic has to have a stupid ‘zombie infection’ saga. They’re not creative and I feel like they just ruin the Canon.

    1. You are 100% right. And not even IDW Sonic comics are canon to Sonic games stories. They are ABSOLUTELY NOT canon to Sonic games after all.

  2. Cover B looks rad, reminds me of the traditional covers, it makes cover A look like a random scene from the comic itself.

Obviously the art quality is different but I think the choice of posing the characters and less Zavok helps a lot.

I don’t think I have much to say about cover R1, the overly cute designs go too hard and the expressions on their faces feel very off-putting, especially Rouge.

    1. Based on info from the most recent Bumblekasts (and assuming my recall is accurate), we’ll be seeing a series of shorter character-driven arcs for a while. Whether they eventually lead to another multi-year arc, we’ll just have to wait and see.

  3. I personally loved every bit of this saga! Although many people might disagree, I still think it’s great that IDW didn’t just continue Archie’s universe, but instead has created their own. I can’t wait to see, what happens next!

    1. Betting it’s IDW’s closure… They just lost a CEO and fired a temp CEO.
That’s not normal for a stable company.

  4. The MV saga was alright but it feels like it dragged on longer then it should have towards its end, and I also didn’t care for the Deadly Six’s role so much.

  5. Why did they bother with an arc like this? Unleashed was a great arc, but it took forever to finish. IDW is now burning in it’s death bed and most of it’s comics were of one arc…
What a legacy Sega gave the comics…
Let’s just hope Tangle, Whisper and other comic characters can be given a better chance in the games where plot can be done in a quicker and more worthwhile experience.
