Sega Ages Sonic 2 (Switch) releasing on Feb 20th in the west

It’s finally coming out, and bizarrely before a Japanese release date has been revealed. Sega just revealed that both Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sega Ages Puyo Puyo Tsu are coming to both NA and EU on Feb 20th. Sega also opened up the western page for the game as seen here.

Earlier we covered that Sega Ages Sonic 2 will feature Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 built-in, as well as the Drop Dash ability (from Sonic Mania and Sega Ages Sonic 1), online rankings, plus the 3DS version’s Ring Keeper Mode and Super Sonic Mode.

  1. I’m expecting that it will have a simultaneous worldwide release, like the Sega Ages version of Sonic 1 did. I wanna buy it, but whether it will be right away or not will depend on the data space of my Switch.
