It’s that time again! The Sonic Amateur Games Expo is an annual event celebrating the talent of Sonic fans around the globe, and it will be taking place on September 27th through October 4th this year.
The teaser trailer is actually a bait-and-switch! It starts off as an advert for the new SEGA Genesis Mini, but then the television signal is overridden with a brief teaser for SAGE 2019, revealing when the event will take place.
SAGE has been a fantastic means for budding game developers in the Sonic community to showcase their talent, as well as provide some incredible fan games, tech demos and proof of concepts that can range from interesting to phenomenal. This is definitely an event you won’t want to miss!
As of right now, the official SAGE website doesn’t have any information for this year, but as soon as we find out more, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop!
