While it doesn’t have as large of a user base as the original Sonic Dash, Sonic Forces Speed Battle is still being regularly updated with bug fixes and special events, and this time we’re looking at a Baseball-themed Rival League!
Not too long ago, SEGA Hardlight started “drafting” players to Team Sonic and Team Rose for an upcoming event, and it seems that this is what they were building up to!

Whether you are on Team Sonic or Team Rose, you’ll be challenging users around the world with a Baseball-themed event! Sonic and Amy are decked out in Major League Baseball gear, complete with the stripes and traditional caps, and I’d like to think chewing gum.
Traditional items are replaced with baseballs and sports sneakers here to give this competition a more ‘sporty’ look. “Slugger Sonic” and “All-Star Amy” will be treated as separate characters, and will be free during the event.
Additionally, SEGA Hardlight has announced via Twitter that the app has been updated to version 2.11.0, with changes including general performance upgrades and bug fixes.
