      1. Finally we get to know what the main Archie Sonic Story’s direction post Shattered World is since they have been doing that Genesis Of Hero breather filler story for The 25th Anniversary.

        1. Finally indeed! I’m really eager to see where do they go next and if the team at Archie have fully recovered from the forced reboot.

  1. Still excited to see where the comic goes after the SWC. Can’t really interpret much from the first issue but I’m personally hoping there’s going be be a sense of threat (maybe other than Eggman) and some drama of sorts, similar to the final issues before Worlds Collide.

  2. It’ll be interesting to see what their direction will be going forward, seeing as how they managed to have the Shattered World crisis keep them chugging along for around 3 years or so now. I hope they end up doing more full-length game adaptations like this in the future, the last time they did anything nearly this big was with the Sonic Adventure adaptation all those years ago. Maybe not something that spans more than one year, but it’d still be nice to see another full-length epic that isn’t just relegated to “another time, another place…”. Actually, I believe that they were hinting at doing Lost World next, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see how things play out (hopefully better than the game itself).

  3. i lovethat we will be seeing castle d’coolette!!!, i also think hood will show up in the story

  4. Not gonna lie. Seeing Antoine and Sonic re-enact the Sonic 2 intro screen was a bit shocking, but I’m genuinely hyped to see more world building and more chances to see the new FF in action.

I especially want to see any more new abilities the FF acquired due to the reboot – Antoine has THE WILL TO FIGHT THE KNIGHT, Bunnie is still awesome, & Nicole has a super form but I wanna see if Rotor and Sally picked up any Sonic-style tricks. Specially Sal – if she doesn’t start learning how to spin and dash, Amy really will be best girl for Sonic.

  5. I guess this is what happens when you finally finish an excuse plot, based on Sonic Unleashed, and an erased continuity (thanks to they shadiness of Penders), which was fatigued long enough for Sonic’s 25th (a rehash of Sonic’s 20th).

And with Sonic games coming very slowly in the far future (namely Project Sonic 2017), what IS next. We just finished Sonic Unleashed, and apparently Sonic Colors already happened (along with everything else). Is Flynn sure he wants to do an arc based on a plot as divisive as Sonic Lost World (even though we already had bits of it in Worlds Unite)?

  6. “All for one and one for all. FREEDOM FIGHTERS FOREVER!”

I just had to put this reference from Sonic SatAM because of this arc.
