  1. Alright, I feel stupid. So is Sonic Universe taking place in the same universe or are the arcs alternate realities?

        1. Well, not exclusively. The last arc was in a different dimension, Blaze the Cat’s dimension. Also, there have been other forays into alternate dimensions including the first comic. In general though, things that happens are cannon to the primary book including the fact that reality has been warped so all these goings on are different from what was happening with Shadow and Black Arms prior to Worlds Collide.

The Black Arms were in a fight with the Xorda last we saw them (the only time we saw them), but presumably in this new reality, the Xorda don’t exist or at the very least didn’t start a war with the Black Arms so they’re free to muck with the planet (Earth/Mobius…I’m not sure which it is anymore…).

      1. Look in the background on the cover and you’ll see that the planet is all cracked up, just like it is in the main StH book, confirming that SU now takes place in the same, post-Super-Genesis-Wave reality as the main book.
