Sonic Generations has quietly joined the Xbox 360 Classics range this month (March 1st to be precise), a status awarded by Microsoft to games that reach an unknown high sales number. Along with this status comes a budget price; in fact the below UK retailers are selling the game for as little as £12.99, so if you’re still on the fence, there’s no better time to snatch it up.
GAME: £12.99
Sainsbury’s Entertainment: £14.99
Amazon Marketplace: From £16.30
Thanks to Blue Blood at the SSMB for the heads up!
No love for US 🙁
Will it be getting a PS3 Modern counterpart?
Depends if it sold same amount on there I guess?
Only now do I see what you did there, well played.
*badumtish*
Sonic Generations IS truly a classic.
This game is now considered a classic? That was quick.
Funny, I just saw this in Grainger Games yesterday and wondered when it got a classic title.
WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE THAT COD!!!! (Yes people. I said it).
I’m not a CoD fan (I’m a Battlefield guy), but even I would say that there is no point comparing this to CoD. Besides, this game sold peanuts compared to CoD.
It’s funny because COD and COD battlefield are the exact same game.
Sonic ’06 is also part of the ‘classics’ range. Just saying.
And so far…. this means absolutely nothing!!!!
We’re not reporting that Classics status means the game is good. Classics status means the game has sold well.
It’s been 1 year and 5 months. Who still hasn’t played this game!?
Classic….CLASSIC!! GET IT!!…CLASSIC *homingshot*
I suppose that you could say, Sonic Generations is generating a lot of sales.
:w00t!: I have so ace this game 😀
