Freak-Out Friday: A Whole Lotta Blast Processing

Get ready for Sonic’s longest adventure yet!

Sonic & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles confirmed for the year 19999999999999999999999994… That’s a whole lotta blast processing right there.

Whoever put this together must have had a great deal of time, patience, and money to have gathered 24 Sonic & Knuckles cartridges to do THAT.

  1. I’m surprised trying that didn’t open up some sort of wormhole.

Or at least made his Genesis/Mega Drive implode.

    1. Maybe you could make a portal to Sonic’s world by making a circular chain of Sonic & Knuckles games, and somehow modify one to connect both to the adjacent cartridges and to the console.

  2. He should’ve put any of the other cartridges on top, just to see what the game would be.

Sonic 3: you play the game starting as Hyper Sonic.
Sonic 2: you play the game as Robotnik.
Sonic 1: you play the game as Silver… wait what!?!?!?

      1. Saddest thing is that now the TNG series is gonna be on Blu-Ray…I wonder if he feels violated and wants his money back for the regular DVDs.

  3. Nickels and dimes: Years ago, the Sonic and Knuckles cartridges were easily found for $1 a pop at Funcoland, Gamestop’s old face familiar to us old timers. Most likely this guy picked them up at the time and has been sitting on his stash for years until this very moment when it would be the best to show them off to the world. Now, I wonder if I link up 50 Sega Saturns with a myriad of network adapters and routers and switch on a game of Segata Sanshiro that I can gain the fame? And possibly summon the powers of Segata Sanshiro?!

  5. 24 cartridges…Sega needs to give this guy a million dollars…not even I have the stones to even try this.

  6. And I thought stacking Sonic 3 & Knuckles on a Game Genie was akin to building a makeshift Leaning Tower of Pisa. So much for that mentality and perception after getting a glimpse of this guy’s creative perspiration…
