SEGA Japan has opened an official website for Sonic Generations. There’s not much there right now apart from the game’s trailer and six screenshots, but there’s bound to be more added in the coming months. Two of the screenshots are new and show us more of Classic Sonic speeding through the Green Hill Zone. Check them out and share your thoughts in the comments.

SEGA of America and SEGA Europe don’t usually tend to put up Sonic game websites until a month or two before release, while SEGA Japan puts them up early on.

Okay, seriously, why the hell is everyone excited that they’re rereleasing Sonic Adventure 2? People were extremely excited when Sonic Adventure 1 came out!!! What’s the big deal? Has it been that long since you last played it?? I mean, it’s available on the Gamecube for crying out loud!! If you have a Wii, then you’re already good. The fact is, you people make a big deal over nothing.
I keep saying this, but the graphics are just breathtaking =)

Funny how fans see 3 seconds of graphics and condemn the game, but when they see 3 min of graphics they praise it like the second coming.
3 seconds of flawed gameplay is worth condeming, and was later found to be more than justifiable.
1 and a half minutes of full classic gameplay and a minute and a half of modern gameplay that looks beautiful and like a blast to play is worth praise.
I don’t think you’re trolling, I just don’t think you see how quality translates into peoples’ reactions towards things.
That top screenshot is pretty beautiful I kinda makes the road Classic Sonic is running on wet, and it seems like he’s in a cave. Also the curved road that we’ve seen in every green hill zone and its other versions looks pretty real actually like they took a picture of a actual curved road and made it into video game form. I guess thats the power of Sega HD.
Ever since I was little, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to explore the backgrounds of those zones. Now, especially with the modern Sonic stages, it looks like we’ll be able to do that! ^_^
In 2 months we discover the whole game is in Green Hill, LoL.

The first screenshot is beautiful. I love the lighting and the way the ground looks wet. I wonder what other levels the game will contain.
