Archie Comics Now Shipping Internationally

Archie Comics Now Shipping Internationally

If there is one common complaint I’ve heard from my chums over in the UK, it’s the difficulty in finding the Sonic Archie comics. I’ve often heard stories of people struggling to get issues months after they’ve come out, usually from a store called “Forbidden Planet.”

Well, while they may still not be available on your newsstands, Archie is now finally offering everyone overseas something even better: they’ll mail it straight to your door. That’s right!  Archie Comics now provides international shipping for subscriptions of all of their comics series, including Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Universe.

International subscriptions will be going for $35.50 for 13 issues, $13 over normal subscriptions. You can buy your subscriptions over at Archie Comics’ Sonic Store.

The Sonic Stadium may link to retailers and earn a small commission on purchases made from users who click those links. These links will only appear in articles related to the product, in an unobtrusive manner, and do not influence our editorial decisions in any way.

  1. I live in the states but it’s nice to see you Brits gittin’ some sonic comic awesomeness.

  2. yay for Sonic Comics. I’ve been reading these comics since I was 8, I’m now 25. I hope I’ll still be reading them when I’m 85.

  3. Ive been collecting the Archie comics (sonic the hedgehog even sonic x too) since 2004 there easy to find/buy in the comic book shop called calamity comics , which has all American comics , ive been collecting sonic universe issues 1 to present and sonic archives along with sonic select too.

forbidden planet does do them but not much, just find a calamity comics shop and u can get sonic , sonic universe and sonic archives etc and many other American comics shipped from worldwide, such as Spiderman, iron man, batman, Usagi etc. at calamity comics they come in on time and sometimes we get it before its released in the US.

  4. Well, I live in the US, so this doesn’t excite me… but Dreadknux and T-Bird will probably be happy.

Though, the only place I can get them is the Books-A-Million several miles from my houseand buy the comics.

    I really need a subscription…

  5. “Months after release”? “From Forbidden Planet”?

I dunno what’s up with those stores, but my FP gets each issue in only a week after it’s US release :S

  6. Well, I live in America, so I can only go from what I’ve heard on the forums. Maybe the what I heard where just rare cases. 😛

  7. Even if I don’t read the Archie Sonic comics, it’s nice to see other countries getting some Archie Sonic comic love.

  8. I live in the US, but I’m still excited for the people who can finally get to read the comics (in their own hands and not through a screen) awesome!

  9. Forbidden Planet is actually two separate companies.

Forbidden Planet is predominant in England, and Forbidden Planet International is predominant in Scotland, though there are International stores in other places, I believe. I use an International store, and they’re excellent for getting the comics in.

  10. I’m considering this, but is this comic actually any good? I used to love the UK one but what I read of this I didn’t like, but that was yeeears ago so…
