If you fancy watching some fanmade Sonic television on the Internet, then you won’t have long to wait for your latest fix. Fastfeet Media, producers of the popular online show “SEGASonic:TV”, have today announced that their fourth episode is due for launch on Friday 26th August.
“SEGASonic:TV” released its first episode in November 2004, and the gap between the third episode and this latest edition has been a gruelling six months for fans of the show. But under the direction of producer ManicVJ, this time has been used effectively to revamp the show and give it more potential.
“The way the show looks and feels has changed from the first half of the season,” ManicVJ explains, “it will feel more like a TV show and will be giving the viewers what they want. This show is gonna rock!”
The content that will be featured in this latest episode has not been revealed, however sources suggest that a roundup of E3 events – including a showing of the Next-Gen Sonic movie that was revealed by The Sonic Stadium – is to heavily feature. The show will also be available in high resolution for the first time in the series, says show director Fastfeet: “The second half of this season will see every episode in high quality 640×480 resolution and in Divx video for best viewing quality. We want the fans to enjoy Sonic the Hedgehog through new mediums and SS:TV aims to do just that.”
Plans for high resolution re-releases of past episodes and DVD ventures are currently underway for the show as well. DVDs will feature special extras and hidden features not available for download, and is planned to be available from The Sonic Stadium Store.
We plan to have a word with the SEGASonic:TV crew as soon as they’re not busy rushing around doing last minute preperations. Stick with TSS and Fastfeet Media for the release of SEGASonic:TV Episode 4.
