In news that might surprise no-one, Sonic Team has reportedly announced that the release date of Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II on Gamecube has been delayed.
Originally the game was due to hit Japanese store shelves in the Spring, but according to The Magic Box the new launch will take place in the Summer.
Fans of PSO will be used to delays by now, as we’ve had to endure several pushbacks over the years – firstly for PSO version 2 on Dreamcast in Japan, then several times for the same game’s release in the West. So, this latest news is pretty much just continuing a time-honoured tradition at this point. Doesn’t make it suck any less though.
