Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam Convention Launches Kickstarter Campaign

2022 marks the return of Georgia’s premier SEGA-themed convention, Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam!

The event, which began back in 2014, is dedicated to celebrating everything SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog celebrates the company’s eclectic video game history, playing host to industry figures (such as Sonic Adventure voice actor Ryan Drummond) and prominent creators in the fan community.

The one-day event is pipped to take place on November the 12th, 2022, and this year has elected to crowdfund the event via Kickstarter.

Pledge levels include virtual attendance for those who can’t make it in person, all the way up to event sponsorship.

At current time of writing, the event has just passed the 50% mark to reaching it’s goal of $7,500.

Sonic Fan Artist Meetup To Take Place In Dallas, Texas

Adding to the growing list of US-based Sonic the Hedgehog fan conventions and meets alongside California’s Sonic Revolution and Georgia’s Sonic & SEGA Fan Jam comes a new event taking place for the first time this year: the Sonic Artist Meetup in Dallas, Texas.
The event is scheduled to take place on June 29th, 2018 from 12pm CDT. While the event is expected to be smaller than it’s counterparts, it promises to include talks on voice acting, various activities throughout the day, a gallery put together by artists and a raffle for artwork with proceeds going to a local charity. The event will conclude with a karaoke party set into the evening.
If you are interested in attending the event, tickets are being sold on Eventbrite, or can be purchased on the door for $15.

Sonic Revolution 2017 Announced & Dated

The Sonic Revolution fan convention is set to return for 2017, this year the event will be held Sunday, June 11th from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Fiesta Hall in Whittier, California.

Along with the confirmation of the venue and the date a number of special guests were also confirmed.

Bill Freiberger, co-executive producer and voice actor on Sonic Boom, as well as Alan Denton, one of the writers for Sonic Boom will be in attendance, fan content creator Balena Productions will also be in attendance.

Tickets will be distributed through GoGetFunding, every ticket comes with a goody bag but for those who want to spend more money, you will be rewarded with a collectable mug or T-Shirt.

More guests and incentives to attend have also been hinted at.
