So I was bored. And you guys ask me a lot for my thoughts on things plus general questions about the show. So maybe I should do this on a regular basis? Who knows, it’s pretty rubbish lol. I talk about Sonic in a car, fan games plus I open my latest ebay purchase.
Also, IM 21, why do I sound like a 12 year old boy D:
If you want to ask my a question, then comment below? I dunno XD

We weren’t dead… we were just having a nap. What to say that hasn’t been said before. HellFire rock. Simple as really. I mean is there anyone else on the planet who could play through a whole game without boring you to tears? I think not. Don’t forget to check out their huge selection of commentaries on their youtube channel here.

It’s a reality! Look at the gameplay footage!!! All around the community people have been talking about the concept of a Sonic multiplayer online role playing game. Well did you know one has been online on since november 2008?!?
With 400 registered players, and a fairly active server during the evening (in the uk time zone) it would appear they are doing something right.
With a world that goes from day to night, quests, pvp, fishing, and capture the flag (wtf?!?!) it would appear it’s something worth looking into. Especially since it’s free to play (what fan game isnt though lol).
This video contains a trailer from SAGE 2008 last summer before the game came out and some poorly recorded game footage of me wondering around trying to play while my pc lags at using hypercam XD.

Don’t forget you can still pick up his album from almost ALL japanese import stores (yesasia etc). Meanwhile this track comes from the OST to Black Knight, which can be downloaded for free (and you won’t get in trouble for it) from here!

An Interesting Story.
We sometimes wonder why HellFire comms did this exclusive playthrough for The Sonic Show….. then we remember and shut up. (that wasn’t as interesting a story as I originally planned).
Sonic and the Cake Is A Lie Knight
Sonic and the Strawberry Cheese Cake Knight is a title within the Sonic the Hedgehog series, released exclusively on Wii as the second entry in the Sonic Storybook series, following on from Sonic and the Secret Rings. The game is directed by Tetsu Katano, who was the lead programmer of the Sonic Adventure titles and Sonic Heroes. Set in the world of King Arthur, the game combines Sonic’s trademark speed with a new swordfighting system, making use of the Wii Remote’s motion-sensing functionality….. deja vu?

Legend20x brings animated life to Hunter Bridges amazing theme tune! The Sonic Show needed a new intro to go with the new format of the show. Season’s 2 intro was very good so we struggled to think how we could top it. It became quickly obvious that we would need some external help. After browsing the land of the internet we came across Legend20x. We hoped and wished that he would be interested in taking on this project and luckily he was equally excited about the idea!
But of course, if we have a new intro, we needed a new theme tune! The lovely Slingerlulz got us in contact with a talented artist known as Hunter Bridges. After discussing different ideas, he got straight to work and create this wonderful 30 second tune. Starting off in a sound that takes you back to the days of the genesis, this new theme tune quickly morphs into a modern upbeat ride that anyone who has played Sonic since Adventure will recognise.
So, what do you think? Do you enjoy it? Is it better than season twos intro??

Bentley Jones (aka Lee Brotherton) rocks ass. As we all know, this is official fact. He has spent more time in Sonic music than any sane person should and rocked the balls out at the Summer Of Sonic 2008 event. If you don’t know who he is, (fool) then think back to Sonic 06. Remember Silvers theme tune? Dreams of an Absolution? That was him… OHH YEAAH.
Back in November Mr.Jones was happy to announce he signed with EMI Music Japan and now FINALLY in the week just past his album “Trans//Lation” was released! We have samples of four tracks for you.

Epic Japan Goodness!Did you know M-Flo has contributed to the video games industry by both providing songs for games, and by advertising for these games? For the first versions of the video game Beatmania IIDX, M-Flo has contributed short versions of the songs “L.O.T. (Love Or Truth)”, “Mirrorball Satellite 2012″, “The Theme from Flo Jack”, “Been so Long”, and “The Rhyme Brokers”. Another music related video game, Dance Dance Revolution, featured the songs “The Theme from Flo Jack”, “Been so Long”, and “The Rhyme Brokers”.
Of course all we care about is this version of the track “Tripod Baby” (from the album Beat Space Nine) which was re-released for the Shadow the Hedgehog video game that came out in November 2005. A commercial for the game, featuring Taku and Verbal, was also aired. Taku and Verbal are big fans of the character Shadow.

Last week, Brad Flick (aka Slingerland or Slingerland’s Corner Fame) talked to Mike Pollock, the current voice of Dr. Eggman and they had a grand ol’ time. If you’ve got 21 minutes to spare, you can listen in as we discuss Mike’s work on Sonic Unleashed and other Sonic titles. In addition, Mike talks about how he got into voice acting and he reminisces on his early days in New York radio and his work on his only film, Little Tug’s Big Adventure. He also does some voices for us!
Mike is currently signed to do voice work on an upcoming, to be announced Wii title. He recently was the announcer for AC/DC’s Black Ice album and has acquired credits for his work on commercials, Ultimate Muscle, and Kirby! Right Back At Ya!. Fo more information on Mike Pollock, visit his website.

Personally, “Knight Of The Wind” is s**t. However this track “With Me” is really good! The downlad link is just above! It’s from the final boss in the game. I don’t think it’s really a spoiler. I mean it doesnt explain ANY plot details… or anything for that matter. It just sounds cool!

So out of nowhere Kevin (Aka AAUK) posts on the blognik that Sonic Unleashed has DLC online. So I pop onto the 360 and there it is. The Chun-nan Adventure Pack offers new acts and missions to the Chun-nan area which overall are a bit “meh” but then again, they are actually worth the measley 250 points they are asking for them. We’d recommended them only if you actually enjoyed Sonic Unleashed lol.

We launch our new series with a look into the love lives of our favourite characters.
Sonic Lurrrrrv…
Sonic and Amy, Knuckles and Rouge, Shadow and Maria, Tails and Sonic, Sonic and Shadow, Rouge and Amy. There are numerous paired up Sonic couples on the internet. Why people feel the need to write or draw about our beloved Sonical friends in such scenarios is beyond me, but we can’t blame it all on the community for these things happening. Sega have repeatedly hinted at or attempted to create storylines of love and that is all it takes to get people writing indepth fan faction. The lovely Evil Doc take a look into this side of the Sonic world and give us a little insight into the truth behind some of the most talked about pairings.
Who are Evil Doc?
EVILDOC is the result of a collaboration between flash animator Roger Weide and cartoonist AA. The movies are mostly parodies of their favorites games. The Red Hedgehog Project is an exclusive collaboration between EvilDoc and The Sonic Show (Sonic Stadium). Each episode is about 2 min and are mixed with previous movies animation like “The Doomed Shadow Show”, “The Evildoc Show” and a new experimental one called the “Sonic X plagiarism” style which is able to recreate Sonic X’s animation for specific scenes.
Each episodes starts with Alex and Roger (the EvilDoc Show) and a new theme for each episode about something wrong in the Sonic world. Each theme has several examples, some excerpt based on Sonic materials (TV Show, games, comics). However all the shows are fully animated (no rip off) so it’s still possible to play a little bit with what really happened on those examples hehe.

Hey, Sonic Show fans! Are you ready for another episode of TSS’ chart-topping podcast?! Well, here it is! Season 2, episode 3 is a “Summer of Sonic” special episode, so this go-’round is not your traditional offering of Sonic Show goodness, as it mostly acts as an archive of all the media Jay (aka Disco Ponies) and other expo-goers managed to film at the event.
However, there are a few non-SoS skits in there, so there are a few surprises to be had in this episode! Featuring:
Exclusive Summer of Sonic coverage and footage! Featuring all the concert numbers by Richard Jacques, TJ Davies, and Lee Brotherton, T-Bird’s Quiz Show, and more!
An exclusive promo video for the re-opening of the Sonic Cage Dome!
The SAGE 2008 Promotional Video!

With the Olympics in full swing and my love for attention, I shoved a Corner segment out the door. Fun fun fun. RedHedgehog will return to its usual antics next week, as well. We really hope you enjoy all the SoS coverage in this episode, though. The audio quality of the concerts is really good!
