First Images of ‘Sonic Advance’ and ‘ChuChu Rocket GBA’

Behold! Sonic Team has released the first EVER picture of Sonic the Hedgehog Advance for the Game Boy Advance. Click through to see the screenshot, found on the developer’s official website. It certainly looks pretty, and gives us a good idea as to how beautiful the final game may end up looking like!

Look at that! How cool does that look? This might be a placeholder stage, but if it isn’t it kind of reminds us of Emerald Coast from Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast. Could Sonic Advance throw some homages our way?

The Sonic Team website notes that the game will be developed to celebrate Sonic’s 10th Anniversary, and will use the power of the GBA palette to the full. ‘Sonic the Hedgehog Advance’ is a working title, and the game will feature a brand new adventure (unlike Sonic Pocket Adventure, which was a Sonic 2 do-over).

But that’s not the only game to feature. ChuChu Rocket! on GBA was also given some love on the website, along with some new information that suggests the game will feature a new ‘roulette’ event and over 2,500 puzzle stages. Sounds cool! Can’t wait for it to come out.
