Nintendo today released the PR of their weekly NA eShop update. Among the releases of this week’s games and weekly sales, was the news of four Sonic games being discounted on both the Wii U and 3DS eShop. Games and prices are below.
- Sonic Generations (3DS) $19.99 USD/$25.99 CDN (both down from $29.99)
- Sonic Lost World (Wii U) $19.99 USD/$25.99 CDN (both down from $29.95)
- Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (Wii U) $19.99 USD/$25.99 CDN (both down from $29.99)
- Sonic Triple Trouble (Game Gear via 3DS VC) $2.99 USD/$3.99 CDN (both down from $4.99)

Couldn’t agree more with what the title implies (Sonic Generations 3DS > the rest of the list).
Triple Trouble’s pretty great though considering the GG’s limitations. The other 2 I can’t say many good things for.
I’m all for still trying to salvage what you can from your mistakes, but Rise of Lyric should AT LEAST be dropped in price by $5, that’s a reasonable amount to drop considering what you’re selling to people. There’s no way it should cost as much as two completely finished games. 😛

we should get Sonic Drift, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Spinball(Game Gear), and Tails Skypatrol released in the Nintendo 3ds eShop
They can’t. They’re more likely to give Steam a Game Gear collection, with all those games and more, and yes, even sell Surf Ninjas for Game Gear on Steam.
