Sonic 4: Episode 2 Out Now on Android & Tegra

Earlier today, Sega announced that the Android version of Sonic 4: Episode 2 is now available to download on… things that can run android stuff? Please don’t ask me to explain what an Android device is, I’m still trying to figure out predictive text!

But if you do own an Android device and don’t have Episode 2, you can now download the game for your Android device here for £5.27, or if you own a Tegra system you can download that here for £5.38.

Furthermore, Sega announced that they would be at the Developer Sandbox conference to talk about episode 2 and answer questions about the game.

    1. Not really. It’s one of three major smartphone operating systems, the other two being IOS and Blackberry.

  1. Android is basically Google’s mobile operating system. The version of Ep.2 that came out today is for mainstream Android devices such as smartphones. The graphics have been toned down a bit to make it playable on those devices. The Tegra version has the same graphics as the console versions of the game because the compatible devices have more powerful graphics hardware.

Very rarely do I sound smart, so I’m proud of that. 🙂

    1. I feel the same. Hopefully we’ll have that within a few days with that ridiculous price.

    1. The Tegra 3 version of the game came out at the same time as the console versions, however there was a delay with the release of the Tegra 2 and ordinary Android versions.

Tegra 3 & 2 variations of the game can only be downloaded from Tegra Zone using the Tegra Zone App, the ordinary version is available to download from the Google Play store.

  3. Hm. Anyone else finding the controls a little too small and unrepsonsive on this port? Got Galaxy s2 and at times flying / attacking from flying is hard work. Also, don’t get me started on how sluggish the controls are in the special stages!!

    Thats aside am happy

  4. All right! Finaly my pain is over and I can play on my Live with Walkman!! Love you SEGA!!
P.S Hope SEGA will make new version of game with option to change size of buttons and fix them because they are to small for me and I have to click a little bit higher than they are :/
