French SEGA fansite SEGA Mag reports that Sonic Generations will be one of the games showcased in next week’s Micromania Games Tour. The tour is run by retailer Micromania and will be held in four cinemas across France. The event operates like an E3 presentation for the public, with about three hours worth of game demonstrations and videos showcased on the big cinema screen.
Other games being shown include Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Forza Motorsport 4, Battlefield 3, Need For Speed The Run, Mass Effect 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, Saints Row: The Third, Batman Arkham City, RAGE, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, NBA 2K12, Dance Star Party and Dance Central 2.

LILLE, October 6 at Kinepolis Lomme / 19h

Tickets cost €5 and are already sold out for the October 4th-6th shows, but you can still grab one at Micromania’s website for the October 7th show in Paris.

*sigh* I know Sega is taking this seriously, but cmon enough with the showcases and stay focus on working on the game and or just put it on psn/Xbla already. Im tired of seeing people go to all of these conventions when its just gonna be the same damn levels previewed.
From what I’ve read around the net, apparently the Micromania Games Tour often receives exclusives, so they might get something new for Sonic Generations.

Indeed and and as a sonic fan this will feed my craving for Sonic Generations………….. By a small percentage. Come on I’m in need of playing the game. Though I must be patient.
so at e3 we got city escape at gamecon we got the 2 sonics trailer so anybody thinkng wer might “find” out the last levels
E3 = City Excape (Rooftop Run teaser)
Gamescom = 2 Sonics (Giant Mech teaser)
TGS = 3,2,1 and Sky Sanctuary (Metal Sonic teaser)
And so far they’ve shown Green Hill, City Escape, Chemical Plant, Seaside Hill, Rooftop Run, Sky Sanctuary and one leaked screenshot of Planet Wisp.
Since the last one hasn’t had a trailer or been officially revealled I will assume the next to be shown in a group of 3 will probably be *spoilers* Speed Highway, Crsis City and Planet Wisp.
The Planet Wisp screenshot isn’t considered leaked anymore. A couple of days after it leaked on Xbox.com, it and the other screens were put back up again and haven’t been removed since.
we all kno they are gonna leak somthing from generations, but it might be pretty spolerish, since were getting close to releasing the game

What makes some people here think that there will be new things revealed for Sonic Generations at this event?
If we can’t get the game this instant, we want to know every freaking detail. It’s not as much thinking as much as it is NEEDING.

From what I’ve read about the event, they often get exclusives, so it’s possible some new Sonic Generations stuff could be shown to attendees.
Is the 3DS version going to be there as well?
There’s no word on which versions will be shown, but with a big cinema screen, we can be sure at least the console version will be shown.
