A new trailer for Sonic Free Riders has just been released by SEGA Europe, this time focusing on the game’s various weapons. The trailer shows how to use these items with Kinect, such as the Octo-ink, which allows you to squirt ink at your opponent to obstruct their view, the Soda Rocket, which you shake until it bursts and gives you a speed boost and the Tee Shot, which sees you use a golf club to fire a golf ball at your opponents. Plenty of new footage from the various tracks in the game is also on show and we get to some hear a tiny bit of the new voice acting, too.

I can see a lot of those being really satisfying to use during a race. XD
But I also worry about the Kinect not picking up on the hand motions while playing, but that might be because I’ve never tried one hands-on before.

Oh please, Jason is shit in the Riders games and most of the games he voiced Sonic in. If that was Jason doing that then some of you guys wouldn’t be bitching about it (or maybe you will be for the last 5 years)

No for your information, Nintendo Power has a problem with some of the HUMOR in Colors but they said that they liked the cutscenes and the story.
haha, looks like fun, not taking itself too seriously is nice to see.
Still apprehensive about the motions not actually working well, experiences on the Wii have taught me motion controls aren’t fantastic =/

From reading the comments on this page, I’d say Voice War II has already begun.
Besides, every reviewer has had a problem with Drummond AND Griffith. The fact that reviewers are praising Roger Craig Smith shows that this guy has quality, so at least WAIT until the game comes out before you bitch.

They’re not whining about this game being bad, just the voices even though we really haven’t heard how the characters in the games talk yet. But I agree that we should all wait and hear how the characters voices sounds like and if they actually sound bad then you guys can bitch all you want.
I’ve seen the trailer and I’m willing to give all the new voices a chance unlike most of these whiners here

I think Roger sounds great here, although I’d much prefer it if Sega had just rehired Drummond.
Well firstly I’d like to say that the Sonic voice is sounding like the perfect natural progression for a hedgehog that’s supposed to be almost (if not already) and adult by now.
Secondly, you can tell the soda can’s action was chosen by men can’t you? lol
I like the voices. =D They sounded great. The only thing that sounded odd was Sonic saying “Yehea!” but that’s merely because he said it twice in a row. He sounds young! I’m not worried about the acting because it was already praised, because we just had 4kids acting (which is the worst it can be and still didn’t bother me much) and cuz it’s freakin pro legend Roger Craig Smith! XD I mean, besides Jaleel White, he’s gotta be the best actor to portray Sonic at least for the games. 😀
And then I saw comments saying “here comes another voice war!” and I couldn’t believe it. Saying that means you WANT their to be a voice war and aren’t against it, despite it being a bad thing and KNOWING it makes you look like idiots to participate in the “War”. Serious… WAAAAR! WTH? XD

But you’ve only heard his grunts and a few yells. I know alot of people has said the same thing about Jason and how his voice acting doesn’t fit Sonic’s personality and that it lacks alot of enthusiasm and emotion compare to Ryan. But now 5 years later the fans seems to love him.
And LOL @ your OldSpiceMan comment. Nobody’s being butthurt and I’m not flaming anyone. xD It’s just so sad how quick the fans is to hating something new or different. I’ve defended Jason and the 4Kids actors when all the Ryan Drummond/Sonic Adventure fanboys was hating and making fun of them. I gave the 4Kids actors a chance so I’m going to give Roger and the rest of them a chance, too
I mainly just care about getting sucked into the gameplay,more so than the voices myself.That’s what games are there for,to entertain us. Can I refer to Douchy mtnitpick for a second XD Lets learn a lesson from him*not saying anyone a douche,but well…y’know,mtnitpick namesake*. I’m just saying,that we should just stop being picky,try to get along and enjoy the fun. So here’s hoping for some good game play,and from the looks of it a good workout.I know I could stand to start using my muscles more,and build up my stamina.
