After Seven Years, The Lalaport Fujimi SEGASonic Railway Service Ends

Goodbye, tiny train.

Since 2015, the LaLaport Fujimi shopping center featured a small Sonic the Hedgehog-branded outdoor train for children and families. However, Monday, January 10 will mark its last voyage.

The train ran a small loop in the corner of the shopping center plaza near a family park. The interior features a small control panel with throttle for children to control the speed and buttons to sound the horn. Just don’t expect its velocity to live up to its namesake.
