Sonic Balloon Officially Confirmed for Macy’s Parade

He wants to fly high. Or maybe that was the other guy.

Following the previously reported rumors, Macy’s has revealed their balloon lineup for the 2021 Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Sonic is scheduled to appear during the event.

The official event page notes that the Sonic balloon is 50 feet high, 55 feet long, and 37 feet wide, and his presence commemorates this year’s 30th Anniversary of the franchise. Sonic is the only video game property featured this year among the parade balloons and floats.

The parade will air on NBC networks on Thursday Nov. 25, 9 AM to 12 PM EST.

Goku will once again be in the parade, meaning Sonic and Goku will be in the same parade!
