The Sonic Boom cartoon is getting some more home video releases later this year. One of them includes the show’s first blu-ray release, which contains the entirety of the first season!
The blu-ray release is priced at $34.99, and it’ll contain 3 discs that, as previously stated, have all of season 1’s episodes. Unlike previous home releases, NCircle Entertainment isn’t planning for any action figures to be included with this.
Sonic Boom Season 2 Volume 1 is also confirmed for a DVD release and, although it’s not listed on NCircle Entertainment’s website just yet, a second volume has also been confirmed to be coming soon.
Volume 1 is planned to release in 2 different versions. One is the typical standard release, priced at $14.99. The other one, priced at $24.99, is an action figure pack. The action figure(s) included are not really known yet.
So, when will you be able to purchase all of these? You can pre-order them right now on NCircle Entertainment’s website. And as for their date of release, All 3 of them are planned to launch on May 4th.
This is great news! Boom is one of my favourite things to come out of the franchise in a long time. Here’s hoping these get released in Europe, too!
I’ve been holding out for this. I’ll go for it.
Well I was wondering when it would hit Blu-Ray. And as a matter of fact, I might bite since I have a Blu-Ray player.
Thats nice, the SB games were crap but the cartoon, while it has its faults (stupid Knuckles redesign), were pretty enjoyable imo. I might get this at a later point.
