Thanksgiving Week in the United States is here, and so are the big discounts and sales. If you’re into the IDW Sonic comics, there’s a sale for you. If the games are your preference, you can also take advantage of a sale.
The IDW sale is the smaller one of the pair. Although the “Best of IDW” sale has a lot of the publisher’s various licensed IPs taking part, Sonic’s involvement is only a discount on the first six issues of the main series. Issues 1 and 2, previously $7.99 each, are now $2.99 each. The prices of issues 3-6 have been cut from $7.99 to $3.99 each. The sale ends on November 30th.
Meanwhile, you can check out the “SEGA Cyber Deals” sale in the Nintendo Switch eShop. Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces are both on sale for 50% off. Previously, they were $19.99 each, but during the sale, you can get them for $9.99 each.
Also on sale are SEGA AGES Sonic 1 and Sonic 2. Both games go to $5.99 each, down from their normal price of $7.99 each. Even Team Sonic Racing is on sale, down from $19.99 to $9.99.
But that’s not all. The “SEGA Cyber Deals” sale includes a large variety of SEGA titles, including tons of SEGA AGES games. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix released in western regions just 6 months ago, and you can finally get it on sale for $19.69, down from $39.39. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is 50% off and has gone from $29.99 to $19.99. This sale goes until December 2nd.
Just a heads up: Steam has many of the Sonic games on sale starting today (the 25th) through the end of the month. While Nintendo offers 50% off, Steam has 75% off most titles (including Mania, Forces, Generations, Adventure and more).
Wanted to just put that out there. I bought Mania for switch this morning before seeing the Steam sales, and Nintendo doesn’t offer refunds, so I missed out.
50% of 29.99 is NOT 19.99. Just sayin’… So Monkey Ball is more of a 33% discount..
