Two legendary voice actors and a beloved up-and-coming voice actress and singer in the Sonic community have announced an unofficial mini Radio Drama to be in the works!

With social distancing taking its toll on people’s daily lives, three talented and passionate voice actors step up to the plate to entertain the Sonic fandom! A radio drama is a type of creative work where a story is told through audio only; while some other franchises have dabbled into this medium, Sonic the Hedgehog isn’t particularly known for it outside of Japan. That changes soon, however!

Sonic fans old and new will need no introduction to Mike Pollock as Dr Eggman’s longstanding official voice actor, and Ryan Drummond remains a favorite to fans of the Adventure series as Sonic’s voice. Some fans may already know of Emily Jones and her impressive voicework in fan projects as Tails. While Emily has not worked on any official Sonic work (yet), she will be playing the role of Tails.
The unofficial radio drama, Sonic and Tails R, is projected to have ten episodes. The release date of the first one is yet to be announced. When it is, we’ll be sure to inform you!
