TYou might know Mr Hesse for his work on Sonic Mania with the opening and ending cutscenes as well as the charming and colorful mini-series “Sonic Mania Adventures” and “Team Sonic Racing,” but his work in the Sonic series has reached a new peak with his involvement in the upcoming film. He tweeted about his experience some time after the trailer dropped to confirm his role:

Working with Jeff and the modelers, riggers, texture/fur artists and animators in LA, London, and Vancouver was a thrill I’ll never forget.

If you love the new look for Sonic and are on social media, be sure to give your kudos to Tyson (as well as the rest of the artists) for working very hard to make it happen.

The Sonic Movie premieres on the 14th of February, 2020 next year.

  1. I’m glad that Tyson managed to convince the artists to include that Ledge gag, that was nice to see. 🙂

  2. I love that drawing of the movie Sonic. Looks better than he does in the actual movie 😉
