UNIQLO Brings Back SEGA Love With Sonic and Puyo Puyo Shirts

Take on your day in Super Sonic Style! UNIQLO will soon be getting some new T-Shirts with the most famous hedgehog in the world in Japan this September.

UNIQLO will be introducing a new series of shirts called “The Game Classic Pixels” which will feature sprite-based artwork from popular games such as Tetris, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and yes, Sonic the Hedgehog!

But that’s not all, SEGA’s prodigal puzzle pal Puyo Puyo will also be featured.

Whether you call them beans or puyo, there’s plenty of love to go around over at UNIQLO, and it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen them make shirts based on SEGA properties. While UNIQLO has markets across the world, there isn’t any word on these shirts coming to the West just yet. We’ll keep our eyes peeled when they are! Until then, if you like window shopping or have access to Japanese currency, you can check it out on their Japanese website here. They will be available on the 23rd of September this year.

  1. Uniqlo T-shirts are very comfortable, so this is good news! However, I don’t understand this obsession with allowing images of Sonic dying. My Sonic lunchbox has this artwork too :O
