IDW has released their April solicitations, giving us our first look at Sonic the Hedgehog #16 and Sonic the Hedgehog: Tangle & Whisper #0.
In Sonic the Hedgehog #16, Sonic has to use his speed to survive a virus. Meanwhile, in Tangle & Whisper #0, we will get our first look at their upcoming solo mini-series, coming this summer, as well as a recap of the first year of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic.

A virus huh? Is it like Sonic is already infected and he needs to use his speed to fight it or something? Or is it like a plague-survival type of thing where Sonic needs to avoid his infected friends and find a cure? Either way it could be interesting. I’m kind of hoping for the Sonic’s infected thing myself, it’s always interesting whenever they try to make Sonic vulnerable for a bit, even though he’s going to win in the end. Plus the DBZ weeb in me is getting Goku’s heart virus flashbacks, and god damn it I miss the days where we could just blatantly take stuff from DBZ and not pretend to be ashamed about it, so I’ll take whatever I can get! XD
Im just going to assume Sonic will be fine, seeing as its issue 16. like its a good plot idea but i think making it Sonic doesn’t give it the suspense it should. I could be completely wrong though lol but thats just my guess.
