Sonic will be returning to literature next year with two books from the Penguin Group. Written by author Kiel Phegley, both books have recently popped up on Amazon, with a scheduled release date of July 10, 2018.
The first of these books, Sonic and the Tales of Terror, appeared yesterday. According to its description, the book will feature illustrations from Ian McGinty and have Eggman and his minions trapping Sonic in three, presumably terrifying, stories. The book will have 64 pages and will be for reading age levels 7-10. The book is currently available for pre-order in both print and on Kindle for $6.99 USD.
The other book, Race Against Time, is a 32 page sticker activity book. As the name suggests, this is an activity book where readers must help Sonic recapture the Chaos Emeralds by completing the book’s puzzles and games. It is also has a reading age level of 7-10, and is currently available for pre-order in print for $7.99 USD.
July 10t is my birthday!!!!
I am planning on publishing a Sonic book myself. It’s a novel called Sonic The Hedgehog: The Mobius Wars. The novel itself is coming a little slow but that’s only to make sure I give the readers a fun time. It’s mainly about Feny The Hedgehog (created by moi) who changes to Saber The Hedgehog (also my creation) which is made by Dr.Eggman. In the end of the 1st novel, Sonic gets word that something is going on in Dr.Eggmans lab so Sonic enters the lab, time passes, and he happens to find Dr.Eggman halfway in the process of creating his very own Saber The Hedgehog. There’s a fight and Sonic and his pal Tails win and help Feny from any harm. But what they don’t know is… damage is already done. The characters that I plan to include are: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Feny, Saber, Dr.Eggman, Shadow, Team Chaotix, The Babylon Rogues, Honey, Silver, Blaze, NiGHTS, Reala, Hatsune Miku, AiAi, MeeMee, Alex Kidd, and Gillius. Remember, the characters listed are only ideas and I’m even thinking about including new characters.
