After many months of rumors and retailer listings, Sonic Mania may finally be getting a physical release, at least on Switch.
ESRB just today re-released a rating for Sonic Mania on Switch, which is bizarre since the game has been out for a couple of months. But the ESRB twitter account clarified that the re-rating is actually for a physical retail release:
To summarize; only physical releases get rating summaries according to the twitter chat above, hence the re-rating.
When we have more information including any official announcement from Sega, we’ll let you all know.
Sonic Mania is out now digitally worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
