Sounds of Sonic Music Event Set For San Diego Comic Con

SEGA have announced today a wealth of events to be held at the San Diego Comic-Con! To complement the already announced “Behind the Scenes” Sonic Mania panel, the five day convention will also play host to the “Sounds of Sonic” music extravaganza, which will take place at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront, and include a suite of music performed by Shota Nakama, creator of the Video Game Orchestra, and Sonic Team composer and Crush 40 guitarist Jun Senoue.

In addition to this and many other events throughout the convention, an autograph signing session will take place on Sunday, in which Sonic Team Head Takashi Iizuka will join the Mania development team. There will also be an exclusive item for attendees to collect!

  1. That graphic has left me speechless. If it wasn’t already, Sanic has almost certainly found its way into the mainstream. Regardless, great news with the Sounds of Sonic event. I can’t go but it’s nice to know there’s a live show for everyone to experience. All the best for those who get to see it.

  2. Saw the Sounds of Sonic Thursday panel pop up on the SDCC schedule when it went live last week.. but shortly after the panel was removed from the schedule (assumed they made a mistake getting the Indigo confused with the action taking place in the Omni Hotel)

It has yet to be relisted on the Thursday SDCC schedule (confusing some people)

  3. Glad to see Sonic will be rocking the San Diego Comic-Con, I really hope someone live-streams or just uploads the whole performance.

Also that art is freaking awesome!

  4. That is one poor ass attempt of an “humorous” infographic…. I see where they were going with it, but really?

  5. Indigo is currently 1/4 full at 4:35.

If you’re here in San Diego and aren’t sure, there’s plenty of room
