The wheels on the Summer of Sonic machine are still turning! Another guest was announced last night, this time it’s returning Sonic the Comic artist Ferran Rodriguez!
Ferran has worked on many different publications and is a master at illustrations, trust me, if you’ve ever seen one of his live demonstrations you’ll leave with a ton of knowledge.
Ferran worked on Sonic the Comic back in it’s early days and produced tons of posters and even a number of issues.
As well as the guest announcement, Summer of Sonic is also looking for animators, the details are as follows.
Summer of Sonic has prided itself on being a platform to showcase the talents of the community…and this year is no different! In the past we have had fantastic shorts from the likes of BoozermaN, Frobman and Sonic Paradox, and this year we would love to play more examples of fan creativity.

All these guests are making me anxious of what’s in store for Sonic’s anniversary game. It’s almost a guarantee that it’s going to be good.
Funny really. I remember seeing him and the others who worked on the Sonic the Comic…comic during the 2015 Super Western Sonic. I was going to ask them if they would work on another Sonic-related thing if SEGA asked them to. I never got to ask it, though.
