Colleen O’Shaughnessey to Appear at Sonic Revolution

Voice actress Colleen O’Shaughnessey is the latest guest to be added to the Sonic Revolution Convention being held at the Holiday Inn LAX Ballroom on June 12. Colleen is well known as the voice of Tails, Charmy Bee and Zooey from Sonic Boom. Colleen is the latest in a large guest line up that keeps growing and growing!

Mike Pollock  (Voice Actor for Dr. Eggman and Sonic Boom regulars The Mayor and Fastideous Beaver.)

Bill Freiberger (Co-Executive Producer of the Sonic Boom TV series; voice of Comedy Chimp and Lady Walrus; writer on the Sonic Boom comic series)

Alan Denton (Writer for the Sonic Boom TV series)
Greg Hahn (Also a writer for the Sonic Boom TV series)
Tyson Hesse (Archie’s Sonic the Hedgehog comic artist, artist on Boxer Hockey and Diesel for IDW)
Scott Shaw! (Archie’s Sonic the Hedgehog comic artist; the very first Archie Sonic artist. Also worked on Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon)
Evan Stanley (Archie’s Sonic the Hedgehog comic artist)

Sonic Revolution will be held June 12th at the Holiday Inn LAX from 10 AM to 6 PM.

  2. She’s really good as Tails. He always seemed to get the short end of it on the acting front.

    Though I have to wonder, whatever happened to Kate Higgins? She was the only VA not to make the jump to Boom…

    1. Union Voice Acting issues ensued, so she couldn’t move on with the rest of the cast.

    2. Apparently Kate was too busy with other roles to continue committing to Tails. Which is fine by me. Honestly, while I love Kate as a voice actress, I think Colleen’s voice fits Tails much better.

      1. Actually that’s not correct. Kate Higgins had to audition for the role as tails again but she still didn’t get the part. Not to sure why but it was probably that sega wanted a new aprroach. Colleen mentioned all of this in an interview a while back.

Colleen O’Shaughnessey well of course she voice acted freaking Charmy Bee everyone hate that voice a lot from Sonic Heroes first it’s like comparing to some other voice actors are Horrible dumb of the games! Like Big The Cat, from Sonic Adventure Slippy Toad from Star Fox Series & more I could think of because they are voice acting more in the future I hate it so much in video games!

  4. While I was happy with Kate Higgins voicing Tails, Colleen made the role her own and gave the kid his own sass and attitude to keep up with Sonic. Plus it’s always been a dream of mine to see her as Tails ever since I first learned that she was the voice of Genis from TALES OF SYNPHONIA while visiting a GameFAQS board. Perfect Casting IMO.

  5. I do like Collen’s portrayal of Tails, but I found out Kate Higgins had to audition to portray Tails again in Sonic Boom and didn’t get the role….I wonder why she to audition when the rest of the voice cast didn’t need to

  6. I think “The Mayor”‘s name was Mayor Fink. It was used in production materials and on the SEGA blog, but I don’t know if it’s ever said in the show…
