UPDATE: Nintendo have confirmed via Facebook, that the Wii U version is still in development and will release later this year.
Original Story: Just announced via Nintendo of America’s twitter account, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is due to be released on March 18th in North America.
Oddly, this is for the 3DS version of the game, no details were given regarding the Wii U version, as of yet no information regarding the EU release date has been given either.

Iirc, Uncharted 4 got delayed again awhile ago.

I-I mean that. Woo. I’m actually looking forward to it. Although I seriously hope that one day we get a true crossover platformer/fighter/RPG/whatever.
Sonic Lost World could’ve been just that, had they used concepts from Super Mario 3D World, abandoned both the “run button” and parkour engine, and the level designs less discombobulated.
Ironically, upon seeing the teaser image for Sonic Lost World, I thought it looked like it WAS a Mario & Sonic crossover. The image shows Lost Hex, which looked like it almost had the same world layout as New Super Mario Bros. U.
Update: No longer really that excited about the 3DS version. It’s still assigning characters to specific events (with my favorite being only playable in one event), and honestly, I realize that none of my friends would play the handheld version with me. The Wii U version, however, I am excited for.

That is even one mouth away for Japan on February,2016 Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games to for Nintendo 3DS. Wow I am so hype for that on Match 18th,2016 North America gets a second release date today by Nintendo Of America in general for getting us excited it for it to play the new Mario & Sonic sports game on 3DS!!!
