  1. Aghhh, if only I were subscribed to this stuff. I love what they’re doing, and if the games did it, I’d love Silver that much more. You know it’s good when they can totally revamp an otherwise completely goofy, older, and more out-of-place character from a crazy 90s cartoon show into something bigger, like this… and still make it work out in the end. Von Schlemmer here is a good example of how I think the series can have humans and still have them fit within the mythos. I like it when they’re fairly cartoony in design, in proportion to the anthropomorphic creatures , and have fun personalities. Remember, guys.. never forget Professor Pickle.

    1. I completely agree with this, this is one thing I can’t stand the games for, no one has much, if any, personality or individuality! They’re pretty much all either Sonic mk II, Eggman mk II or they just exist for the sake of plot points. Yet Archie somehow always manages to fill each and every character with life, personality and individuality, even the ones from the games, without interfering with the rich lore, mythos and world which the games also lack (Seriously, when have the games ever contained any form of history, lore or mythos relating to the world aside from the vague touch on the Echidnas and Dark Gaia and Shadows history which was more character-specific history and such anyway?).

      1. I seriously think that Archie’s direction is very good.. and I wish the games would do it too. Maybe they will next year.

        1. I doubt it. Sega will probably play it safe as usual. Better to keep those expectations low then get them hyped up for absolutely nothing.

        2. Yeah, I wish SEGA would just hire whoever’s writing for Archie Comics now (I forget the name lol) to write the games… Then again, last time they attempted something like that, we got Sonic Chronicles…

          1. Ian Flynn.
            Leah Baker.
            Evan Stanley.
            Tracy Yardley!.

Those are the most prominent of the Writers for Sonic.

          2. I kinda liked Sonic Chronicles. If I recall it was also one of the only games where critics/players praised Sonic’s friends as likable cause they we’re written well.

I think Sega should try and do a Sonic Archie comics game kinda like what ultimate Spider-man did. just to see how well it does.

          3. When did I say Bioware? They developed the game, sure, but did they write any of it?

Also yeah, something like that or just another branch off from the main game series that, plot and character-wise, works like the comics but in game form like that cancelled SATAM game. I would throw all of my money at that!
