Solicitations for August: Worlds Unite Ends, Sonic Returns to Normal, Sonic Boom Comic Rumour

It’s the end of the line for Worlds Unite…but is it the only thing ending this month?

There’s a new batch of covers and solicits for the taking, and Comicbook.com gives us our look at the end of the crossover, amongst other things. In Mega Man #52, Sonic and Mega Man finally power up to take on Sigma in his deadliest form yet, and the Genesis Portals have taken their toll as reality is starting to fall apart! Can the heroes defeat the threat and fix the multiverse in time? Find out in “Worlds Collide”: part 12.

Sonic Boom #11 sees Eggman getting tired of his robotic assistants failing him so often, so he calls for outside help in the form of Kyle the Gorilla. According to this, the Sonic Boom comic will be ending with issue 11. Is this the finale of the adventures with the Boom gang in comic form? We’ll know for sure with the September batch of solicits.

But as always, we’ll have more information of all the comics closer to their release date.

    Looks like it wasn’t a mistake or anything, well I won’t be missing this comic.

  2. Wait, what do you mean by “Sonic returns to normal”? I originally thought “Ooh, good, they resolved the legal crap and WILL revert it to the pre-reboot world!” but then I read the article and… there’s no further mention of this? Was I right? Does Sonic lose the werehog this early? Do you mean “normal” as in resuming the current plot?
